Batman "The Dark Knight" movie that just opened last week continues to break records in ticket sales, etc. There is talk that if it continues good sales, it may break the record set by "Titanic" as biggest record breaking movie, etc.

Wow, that's better than I ever expected this movie to do.

Yeah, same here. I expected it to do okay, but this is going way above and beyond what anyone could have predicted. I guess a third movie in the series is almost a sure thing with these numbers, but I wonder any sequel could top this performance.

I don't know if any other movie could top this, but I bet they will sure have fun trying to top it. :wink:

Just heard that Batman has now reached the $400 Million mark, I think it was, and has set a new record for doing so in only 13 days, I think it is. The old record was set by one of the "Shrek" movies, not sure which one.

How many more records can this movie break or achieve???? :hyper:

It looks like "The Dark Knight" has been toppled by the new movie "Tropic Thunder" which soared to first place this week. Although, it was phenomenal that "The Dark Knight" is just now being toppled from first place since it held that spot for so many weeks.

That's almost a full month at the top. It's a pretty amazing run. With that kind of performance, it'll probably stay in some theaters for at least a couple more weeks.
