EDIT : I'll tell about it now : in fact the national day commemorates the 1790 "Fête de la Fédération", held on the first anniversary of the storming of the Bastille on 14 July 1789; and not the storming itself ! It was installed in 1880.

Well, I forgot to post this yesterday as it was Bastille Day in France on Thursday, July 14, 2016. Today, Friday, July 15, after still hearing about the horrible attack in France and the lives lost and injured that occurred yesterday, I thought I would go ahead and post it anyway today. Our thoughts and prayers are with France always! We mourn your loss and celebrate your victorious days ahead as they will surely come.
