Finally, my second piece of pencil-based fan-art is done. I think all of you guys will recognize the reference of Rolf ( he bares a striking resemblance to Orakio here ^^) and the cape was added to give him a more heroic look. He wears a cape on the Japanese cover of the game as well, so this certainly doesn't look out of place on him. ^^ The Dark Force reference comes from the PS2 Adventure book.

And here's Rolf's perfect theme song as well. It's called Behind Blue Eyes, originally sung by The Who, but this version is Limp Bizkit's version. It suits him better. It's so sad...

No one knows what it's like
To be the bad man
To be the sad man
Behind blue eyes
And no one knows
What it's like to be hated
To be fated to telling only lies

[Chorus:]
But my dreams they aren't as empty
As my conscience seems to be
I have hours, only lonely
My love is vengeance
That's never free

No one knows what its like
To feel these feelings
Like i do, and i blame you!
No one bites back as hard
On their anger
None of my pain and woe
Can show through

[Chorus]

Discover l.i.m.p. say it [x4]
No one knows what its like
To be mistreated, to be defeated
Behind blue eyes
No one knows how to say
That they're sorry and don't worry
I'm not telling lies

[Chorus]

No one knows what its like
To be the bad man, to be the sad man
Behind blue eyes.

I think others told you that on another of your fanart topics, but I too prefer this style of drawing. It seems more fluid, less blocky. You should really become a manga artist :) Great Job Lyla

I'm aspiring to become a mangaka (one that creates manga) one of these days, but for now, it's just a hobby. This is my normal drawing style. The CGI work I do was simplified for the colouring process.

And you can expect plenty more art in this style. ^^

Very cool. I thought it was a PS III piece for a second there. :D

Please keep this sort of stuff up. I really like these new drawings of yours.

Wow, he does look a lot like Orakio! It's a very nice piece overall. I like the flow of the cape. I'm not too fond of this Dark Force design. To me, instead of looking like Dark Force, it looks more like an old style of drawing of a certain Spider-Man villain. Which is not to say you didn't draw it well, it's just not how I envision a Dark Force.

Rolf vs. Ultron! I can get behind that.

That said, it is a beautiful drawing and your style works very well. Please grace us with more!

Yeah, I was actually thinking of drawing a full-blown Dark Force as he appeared in PS2, but getting the angle would have been a bit of a problem, since there's only one reference pic of him (his battle sprite) and that's from the front view. So the perspective would have been incorrect. I supposed I could have done Dark Phallus (><, hate that name, it sounds so... dodgy) from PS1, since there is a nice reference of him again, both in the original PS2 and GEN2.

So, you were thinking of Venom, Thoul? :D

Looks a bit more like Ultron or Hobgoblin without the hood on.

Oh... forgive me. I don't know my superheroes or villains very well. >< Not really a fan of those type of comics.

I was thinking 1960s Lizard, actually. These are not the best pictures of it, but may give you an idea of why it's similar to me:

Although, there is a good resemblance to Hobgoblin, too. Especially with those large brows.
