WolframAlpha is a new search engine that launches today.

No, it doesn't sound like something that would have a chance of going anywhere near Google. It reminds me of TV commercials for another search engine, that were running a few years ago. I think it was Ask Jeeves or some such. It promoted the ability to ask a real question and get an answer. Google is still around and as strong as ever after that. I can't see this being any more of a threat.

I found an article about some funny searches in WolframAlpha this morning, so I played around with it a bit myself. It seems to have absolutely no knowledge of video games at all.
