Earthquake shortens day

Some Scientists think the recent earthquake in Chile may have shortened our day, and changed the rotation of Earth's axis, etc.:

It sounds like a non-issue from the article. The change is so small that it has no real impact on anything. I remember reading that the Chile earthquake was unusually large. I might be a little concerned if there were a lot of earthquakes that big, but it seems spare enough that there's no need to even notice this aftereffect.

The effect will not be now... The effect will be in 20 or more years... Thats what I think...
