It's 2014. Emulate.
Seriously, the money you spend on a game that was out in 1992 is no longer going to the people who made the game, you're just feeding monsters like EA.

Playing a game on a cold, sterile PC just doesn't complete the experience for me. I take your point on EA, I wouldn't support them, but this is a Sega-published series, and I love Sega and would gladly support them, making the collection option more appealing.

Hukos wrote:SF2, it just seems like there's no rhyme or reason in terms of mechanics as to why characters join you. They don't flow well within the game and it makes SF2 feel a lot more disjointed as a result. It's still a pretty solid game but I'll always prefer SF1 for those reasons.

They were SF1's poor attempt at hybrids and they fell short, by far. Also, if you level up too fast (easy to do in SF1) most characters you get from chapter 7-8 are useless prior to vast amounts of leveling, except maybe Musashi. Alef and Bleu took insane amounts of babysitting before they became usable.
Meh, I liked the idea. You don't have to do it if you want to, the game doesn't force you to.
