I totally missed this when you first posted it, Silver_Surfer1, ha ha, but this is awesome! I really like Lucas's Resurrected Lashiec, I remember seeing it a while back, but I've got to go comment on it now. doncair does the best character costume artwork, for sure.

Though I must admit, the most horrifying, the most dread-inducing, the most HALLOWEEN image of all, must be augmentedfourth's Peevish III! Not enough is this yellow image of nightmares alone, but...that knife!

Bumping this up for the 2014 Halloween season. What fun it is to take a look at all these excellent artworks again!

These are really good.

My favorite is the raven! When I registered here I looked mostly at PS fan art (before I registered, I looked for official PS art). But I think it is time to check Wolf Bird's realistic bird portraits. I am more cartoon or comics-oriented, so I am always amazed by people who can manage realistic art.

Also, I am meant to finish a "Halloween" pic before October ends (for the monthly challenge at a deviantART group). I am starting to doubt my chances at actually finishing it (lots of work). But I hope I do, so it can be added to this site's Halloween art.

Well thank you, Icecypher. I do more than realistic birds too. I've rechecked some of these pieces of art. They're all good, and I think this already good list could probably be updated with some halloween-themed/spooky-ish art that's been posted up here in the last year or so

Somehow I missed this last year! As far as I know, Peevish III hasn't stabbed anyone....yet.

Great idea! I think augmentedfourth's Flemeth/dragon doll should make the list, after all, Flemeth is a witch.
