Animals In The Bible

Many different Animals are mentioned throughout The Bible, both in the Old Testament Books and the New Testament Books.

The object here is to find and name some of those animals, etc.

Rules of this post thread are as usual to remember the rules of The Board when posting, etc. Please, only one animal mention per post and per poster so that everyone may have a chance too post or respond. Also when posting about an Animal, please tell where the animal you are referring to is mentioned in The Bible (Book, Chapter and Verse) as some Animals are mentioned several times.

Okay, I will start us off.

Whales = Whales are mentioned in creation story. Genesis 1:21

Cattle = Cattle are mentioned in the Creation story - Genesis 1:24.

Camel =The camel-trains go out of their way; they go up into the waste and come to destruction. Job 6:18

Bees = "there was a swarm of bees and honey in the carcase of he Lion". Judges 14:8

Scorpion = "I will chastise you with scorpions." 1 Kings 12:11

Bears = " there came forth two she bears out of the wood". 2 Kings 2:24

Spider "weave the Spider's web " = Isaiah 59:5

Dragon = "I am a brother to dragons, and a companion to owls." Job 30:29

Dog = Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog. Psalm 22:20

Camels = And the servant took ten camels of the camels of his master, and departed. Genesis 24:10
