I finally managed to get my Chaos Terminator Sorcerer model completed this morning and I am now glad to present you the final product. Chaos Sorcerers FTW.
I apologise for the washed colours and shadows from the lens. This is what happens when you try to take macros with a wide angle lens.
A few bits of knowledge for those curious:
The purple armour was painted quite easily. With the model primed black all I did was paint around the edges (except the shoulder guards) and add some highlights to make it appear as such. It's generally a good way to paint dark armour.
And just in case you can't see it, the helmet is actually painted with a mix of silver metallic paint with some purple thrown in. This helps give the metal a lovely purple cast and can be applied to any colour. Handy if you can't decide on purple or silver. Just do both.
Anyhoo, feedback is always welcome. My next submission will hopefully be something more along the lines of a PS related drawing of sorts. I think I've learned enough of patience and colour from miniature painting to try my hand at drawing and actually persist and do good.
