American Pharoah

American Pharoah was the winner of the 141st Kentucky Derby just last month, I think it was, and now this horse has also won the Preakness race. Now it remains to be seen if the American Pharoah might possibly win the next upcoming race thereby conquering a Triple Crown in racing.

Congratulations to American Pharoah on winning The Belmont (as well as the other two races mentioned above) and thereby winning The Triple Crown of racing! First horse to do so since the mid 1970's. Wow!

And, a special nod to the jockey who rode American Pharoah to win as I saw in the news that he may give his winnings to charity.

And, there are more races ahead for American Pharoah in the near future before his final retirement from racing.

I read that American Pharoah lost one of his recent races, although he did come in fairly close. Poor baby. Maybe it is time that he gets some rest.

And, on an interesting note, the jockey who rode American Pharoah to his wins in the Kentucky Derby, The Preakness, and The Triple Crown will be a contestant on this new season of "Dancing With The Stars"!

It will be interesting to see if he can dance as well as he can ride a horse.
