My best colored pencil work to date, but that's not saying much. The planets and the space are obviously missing, for now. And as the name says, the title screen in PS 2.5 will look something like this.

Comment on it.

I already summed this up in the shoutbox but here we go anyway.

Well it's a good job Lyla and I were able to convince you to switch back to using pencils for your drawing. After squinting at an angle (this monitor makes it hard to see things properly ><) I can see you've certainly achieved a sense of depth with your shading. The cloak is quite well done too. The only critique I can think of is that his neck is way too thick. Regardless of angle the neck is straight. Take a closer look at some necks the next time you draw and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Anyways, keep it up Solar and work on improving your skills. :) I'm off to adjust this stupid monitor.

Well, great job Solar. I think this is one of my more favourite pieces by you to date. I'll offer more critism at a latter date just caus I is hungry.

I agree, there's a lot of improvement to your shading technique here. The cloak in particular shows it very well, but so does the roundness of the torso and arm. My minor suggestion would be to consider making the inside of the cloak a little darker than the outside. That would help achieve the visual effect of the cloak draping around the shoulder and body.

I like what you've done here. Even though you've left some planets and space missing, you've drawn enough there to hint of their existence and make the viewer wonder about them, and that's an added bonus to the picture.

I very much like how you seem to have done a little shading in on his face, etc., really setting his facial features off, imho. He has a very handsome face.

To me, it seems there needs to be some kind of darker shading or bold line or something seperating his body from his arm on the side where the cloak is swung out as it almost looks like his body and arm are one and not two seperate parts.

Glad you colored his hair. And, as always, I think this one would also look fantastic entirely in color...including the planets and any background you decided to use. It could really set the whole picture off well.

Otherwise, I think it looks terrific! Very happy to see this character again! You are improving so much...keep it up!
