Question 1 Assuming that TNG continued after Nemesis, how do you think it would progress? Would B4 be able to replace Data? Who would replace Riker as commander?

I don't think B4 could replace Data - he wasn't as technologically sophisticated as Data. It would be like trying to run a Windows Vista program on Windows 95 - they just don't mesh together right.

Wasn't there a new commander at the end of Nemesis? It has been a while since I saw it, so maybe I am not remembering it right.

As for B4, I see him as more of a storage unit at the moment. I'm sure LaForge could build a new Data body, given how much information they must have from the various detailed scans over the years, and then transfer Data's programming from B4 into the new body, thereby bringing Data back.

I think it the next progression for TNG would have been a focus on Riker's new ship and crew. I read in a interview not too long ago that Frakes said he was open to doing a show on that premise.
