In the Catholic church We have the Feast of All Saints. Which for us is a Holy Day of Obligation. (Attending Mass is required). The following day we celebrate the lives of those who have gone before us with a rather somber Mass on All Souls day. At our home parish we remember those who have passed during the year. Reading off their names at the start of the Mass. Important times in the life of the church.
