Sinclair is starting to have a monopoly in the TV markets. In the region of Michigan that makes up Midland, Saginaw, Bay City, and Flint. We have five main networks. WNEM (CBS) WJRT (ABC) WEYI (NBC) WBSF (CW) and WSMH (FOX). Sinclair owns WSMH out right. But two of their "holding companies" owns WEYI and WBSF. These latter two stations were previously owned by one company and thus share stations across their digital sub nets. So thanks to the various loopholes and relaxation of various regulations. Out of the five stations. Sinclair effectively operations three of them.
