The problem with the Phantasy Star MMOs is that they're a strange breed, sort of like it didn't know whether or not it wanted to be an offline or online game.
When I think of an MMO, I picture stepping outside of a town or city in the game and seeing 20 other players knocking down baddies. For PSO and PSU, you have to find people to play with (there is no easy way to search for a party in those games), and then enter extremely linear stages to do a mission. PSO and PSU are extreme failures, I think.
You have to ask yourself, is the Phantasy Star series worth saving, or has Sega just messed it up so badly that it should just rest in peace?
Also, why is there a Numan on the Shining Force SOS website?
