A minor thing...

Since I haven't uploaded anything here in a while, not to mention that I haven't been inspired to do any fan-art so far, I did this piece out of sheer boredom and to refine my digital colouring skills. So, there you have it. Nothing major. Took me about 2 hours to colour with my mouse and Paint Shop Pro 8.

Very nice coloring work, Lyla. It looks better than the official colored version, in my opinion.

That's why I redid it, apart from my boredom. The official coloured version is awful.

Yes, the problem with the old version is the contrasting I think. Alys is in the abckground with this massive blob of brown hair and Chaz is in front with this almost luminous yellow hair. And the reds were pretty off too.

Anyhoo, as for this one. Well your experience drawing Alys shows for sure. I also love the colouring job. It's very well done indeed and shows the effectiveness of such simple methods. I know I'm hoping to sign up for some CG lessons next year, if they exist here, so I can actually put photoshop or PSP to use.

I agree with H-man...hate Chaz or not, you tend to draw him really well. And Alys too! The experience shows. Good work!
