Scientists have discovered a new planet:

http://www.cnn.com/2009/TECH/12/16/supe ... index.html

So, wonder why it took them so long to discover this planet?

Also, what do you think of this most recent discovery?

Do you think there are other planets out there like our Earth?

Why are scientists just now finding or discovering many different planets ?

How many different planets are there now anyway????

Anyone out there interested in these space discoveries???

Space is pretty big. There's a lot of places to look, so it stands to reason that there is a lot of stuff that has yet to be found. After all, things are always found in the last place you'd think to look for them, right?

The Sci-Fi nerd in me screams with glee whenever I hear about possible planets we can explore. I must admit I'm surprised we never saw this out there before since it's so close to earth.
