A new study suggests that there may be as many as 300 sextillion stars and other things in the universe, including other galaxies, that most of us never imagined could be there:

Wow, that's a lotta stars! :o

Seems they are coming up with new studies almost every day with new discoveries of what might actually be out there in space!

And just think- that's what we think is in the known galaxy- who knows how much else is out there?

Certainly gives a reason to believe Clarke's phrase from 2001: A Space Odyssey: "For every man who has or ever walked the Earth, there is a star in the night sky he can call his own."
