Yeah, it is not always easy to find the time to see some of the events. I am trying to catch up by watching the re-runs late at night because I don't have the time to watch at any other time of the day. I am still not getting to see everything that is happening though and that is sad as I really like to watch the Olympics. I especially like the skating, but am enjoying all the other winter activities as well.

The USA is not doing too well in winning the gold medals, but they are giving it their best shot!

Well, the Winter Olympics are over for this year! The closing ceremony was held yesterday and it was beautiful to watch. The Olympic Flag has now been handed over to China where the next Winter Olympics will be held four years from now in 2022.

The USA came away with 9 gold medals, 8 silver medals, and 3 bronze for a total of 23 medals. That is pretty good.

Norway was the lead with 39 medals overall. Followed by Germany with 32 medals. Next was Canada with 29, and then the USA with 23.

You can see the medal count by clicking on the link in the first post above.

Finished, alas ! That was great, even if I haven't watched a lot... France was not too bad :! With 15 medals (5 Gold, a record !, 4 silver and 6 Bronze), it's the ninth rank and the best with Sotchi ! great !
