I'm a lover of cheese and salsa, but Mexican cuisine is probably my least favorite. Tostados are probably my favorite Mexican dish, though; they're easy schmeezy to make and are oooohhh soooo gooood.
I definitely prefer Spanish cuisine, which has hints of Phoenician, Greek and Middle Eastern food -- all being favorites of mine. Churros are Spanish in origin, but like many other things Latin, they've blended into Latin American culture. I've never had Mexican churros, but the Spanish version I enjoyed was excellent. I'd wager they're basicially the same.
