The next big primary up for grabs is the Puerto Rico Primary on June 1, for the Democrats only.

This should be interesting to see how Puerto Rico votes, etc.

Although, I believe I heard that even though Puerto Rico gets to vote in the Primary, they do not get to vote in the general election because it is only for US States. Is that correct???? If so, it seems contradictory in many ways. :yaknow:

Puerto Rico's primary is happening today. We'll know how they decide before too long now, I suppose.

Geraldo Rivera is covering Puerto Rico for Fox News Channel today and had some interesting things to point out about the election there. Hillary Clinton is expected to win Puerto Rico. They are waiting to see how big her win might be there, though, and exactly how many people come out to vote there.

There is some controversy going on in Puerto Rico on vote day today. It seems that a large number of people are protesting something about Puerto Rico being a part of the US, and they think it should be a governing state or territory, etc., on it's own, seperate from the US. It Might be interesting to see how that goes. If those people vote, or don't vote, it could effect the election there today, also.

As expected, Hillary Clinton won big in Puerto Rico. She picked up a few more delegats.

Now, the last two primary's are tomorrow night (Tuesday, June 3) in Montana and South Dakota.

This part of the race is winding down.

I don't understand why there was even a primary in Puerto Rico. It's a territory, but from my understanding they don't get a vote in the general election. It seems like just dangling a carrot in front of somebody only to pull it away and say "nyah nyah, you don't matter!"

Thoul, I agree with you 100%. I think if they are allowed to vote in the Primary, then they should be allowed to vote in the Big election also.

It won't surprise me a bit, if Puerto Rico becomes the next new State of the "US States" one day in the future. That seems to be what they want.
