from what i've been reading about recess situations over the last couple of years the only thing I can think of is that the schools don't care about child safety, which is pretty much why a majority of schools have taken recess away permenately. they do this because they want to make a image for themselves, as being the one school in the county that has the highest grades, or least amount of child injuries.
taking away tag, as well as any fun activity for children is just wrong. they're children they're suppose to have fun. whats fun without getting a little hurt sometimes, I can understand the whole rock thing, everyone has rocks thrown at them sometimes if they're not lucky when they're kids. when they hit middle school they won't be able to have fun during their 30 minute or however long they get break. I grew up on tag, touch football, duck duck goose and all those when I was in elementary school, so I hate to see it taken away from kids.

Well, I've never been allowed to play tag at school for as long as I can remember. They opposed us running in anything that wasn't soccer, and then they eventually got rid of our soccer equipment so that wasn't even an option anymore. You couldn't run anywhere anymore. What kind of recess is that? XD
You represent... apathy.You don't really show any emotion. You can be considered cruel and cold, but you just don't really care about anything. This is just the way you are... you're quite a challenge to get close to, and others may perceive you as boring.
Zeus was the Greek excuse for having no logical explination for lightning. Hades was for the death that baffled them. Posiedon tore apart at their shores. So Athena must have explained the people who didn't believe in the gods. |

I don't know, I think they're actually too concerned about child safety. Most of the times I hear of recess being removed, it's because the kids are playing rough or someone was hurt. Getting rid of recess altogether is an overreaction IMO, but they seem to do that so the kids don't have a period of time in which they can run completely wild.

Yea, but I just hate that people take recess away. Because that half hour of recess is time for you to stretch your body and clear your mind without all the worries of the schoolwork piling up on you.

A half hour? Wow, we got maybe 15 minutes, depending on how fast you can get to the playground. XD

Ew, I say let them bask in their idiocy, anyone fool enough to present themselves like that deserves the retardation they achieve. No offense if anyone here thought that it was a cool idea.
